Corinda is one of Brisbane’s most popular suburbs, bound on its western edge by the Graceville/Sherwood part of the Brisbane River. Situated only 12km from the Brisbane CBD, Corinda is a popular family suburb with larger older-style homes and a quiet, leafy atmosphere. Parts of Corinda boast a scenic hilly area with views of Mt Cootha and the city skyline.

With its own railway station, Corinda’s residents have easy access to all of greater Brisbane via the Ipswich line. It also provides residents with easy access to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and the University of Queensland.

The population of Corinda in 2011 was 4,695 people, By 2022 the population was 5,391 showing a population growth of 7.8% in the area during that time. The predominant age group in Corinda is 40-49 years. Households in Corinda are primarily couples with children and are likely to be repaying $1800 -$2399 per month on mortgage repayments. In general, people in Corinda work in a professional occupation. In 2011, 63.6% of the homes in Corinda were owner-occupied compared with 67.5% in 2022. Currently the median sales price of houses in the area is $1,257,500.
